- The Sony FX6 Full-Frame Camera Kit, which includes the FX6 camera and a 24-105mm f/4 G OSS E-mount zoom lens, is designed to deliver versatile, cinematic-quality imaging in a compact package. - The FX6 camera is a fusion of the 4K full-frame Exmor R sensor and the BIONX XR engine, offering highly sensitive capture in various settings. It utilizes a base ISO of 800 and an ISO 12800 high-sensitivity mode, perfect for detailed low-light scenes. The FX6 body, just under 2 lb, is significantly lighter by 2 lb compared to the FX9 and has dimensions of 6 x 4.6". Despite its compact size, it houses a full-frame sensor, making it comparable to the S35-sensor Sony FS5 in terms of body size.
- The FX6 is not only a perfect fit for professional on-set cinema workflows, but it also comes with several features that are incredibly beneficial for solo operators. These features include a quick and precise phase-detection autofocus that comes with Face Detection and real-time Eye autofocus. It also has both automatic and manual ND filter settings that allow for swift adjustments in exposure, and a 3.5" LCD monitor that provides easy touchscreen access to essential menu settings.
