- Conformed to AWS A5.9/ASME SFA A5.9/ER308L. 2-lb net weight of ER308L stainless steel welding wire. 4" spool wrapped in moisture-resistant plastic film. Typical deposited chemical composition %: C=0.02, Si=0.32, Mn=1.70, P=0.01, S=0.009, Cr=20.0, Ni=10, remain=Fe.
- For MIG welding (GMAW) stainless steel 304, 304L, 308, 308L, 321 and 347, etc. With a carbon content held to a max of .03% to reduce the possibility of intergranular carbide precipitation. Most popular stainless wire for general-purpose applications where corrosion is moderate and applications at cryogenic temperatures. Shielding gas required, usually Argon/CO2 mix.
- Welding wire diameters: 0.023" (0.6mm), 0.030" (0.8mm), 0.035" (0.9mm) and 0.045" (1.2mm). Package of 1, 2, and 5 spools.
